How do I change or cancel my Arlo subscription plan?
You must use the Arlo Android app or log in to your Arlo account on a computer to change or cancel your Arlo subscription plan. Arlo support experts and community moderators are not able to cancel your service, change your service, or provide a refund for the unused portion of your subscription.
Note: If you have a legacy Arlo Smart plan, you can’t make changes to your plan unless you switch to a new Arlo Smart plan.
Before you begin
When you change or cancel your plan:
- All your recordings in the Arlo cloud are deleted.
If you would like to save your recordings, download them before cancelling or changing your subscription. - If you cancel a legacy Arlo Smart plan, you will not be able to purchase that same plan again. Instead, you must purchase a new Arlo Smart plan.

Change or cancel your plan
To change your Arlo subscription plan:
- Launch the Arlo app on Android or log in to my.arlo.com.
Note: You can’t make changes to your Arlo Smart subscription on an iOS (Apple) device. - Tap or click Settings > Subscription.
- Tap or click Change Plan next to the Arlo Smart or CVR plan you want to change.
- Choose the services that you want to add or remove.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to check out your new Arlo Smart plan.
To cancel your Arlo subscription plan:
- Launch the Arlo app on Android or log in to my.arlo.com.
Note: You can’t make changes to your Arlo Smart subscription on an iOS (Apple) device. - Tap or click Settings > Subscription.
- Tap or click Cancel Subscription at the bottom of the screen.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to select the plan(s) that you want to cancel.
