Which devices are supported for HEVC 4K or 2K playback?
High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) is a video compression standard that enables you to download and stream 4K and 2K videos with ease. To use HEVC on the Arlo app, you must use a supported device and meet the minimum requirements.
To support HEVC, your device must run one of the following:
- iOS 11.0 or higher (Apple devices).
- Android 5.0 or higher (Android devices).
- The latest version of the Arlo app (for mobile).
- A web browser that supports HEVC.

HEVC is supported on the following devices:
