  • What’s the difference between Arlo Go and Arlo Go 2 Cameras?
    The redesigned Arlo Go 2 is loaded with new features like LTE and WiFi connectivity, 1080p video resolution, color night vision, a spotlight, two-way audio, a siren, and GPS camera location.

  • Where can I use a Go 2?
    Monitor nearly any location with a WiFi or LTE connection. The camera is portable so you can take it with you and rely on a backup connection to the cellular network to ensure your cameras remain armed even when WiFi is unavailable.

  • Is it better to connect to a WiFi signal or wireless mobile signal on my Go 2?
    Go 2 is designed to be flexible. For example, you can use your WiFi with cellular mode as a backup, so you’re always protected even if the WiFi goes out.   • Do I need a SIM card for Arlo Go 2 mobile coverage?
    Yes. Your Arlo Go 2 camera requires an activated SIM card with a mobile data plan to access the mobile network. For help with your mobile service plan, contact the carrier of the SIM card that was provided. If no SIM card was included, visit your local wireless carrier to activate a service plan and receive a SIM card.

  • What options do I have if I do not have an activated SIM card?

  • Does the Go 2 come with an Arlo subscription?
    Go 2 has a free 3-month subscription to Arlo Secure. Some retailers will also sell Go 2 with a voucher for an additional 24-months of Arlo Secure. This voucher will be included in the box.

  • What are the storage options for the Go 2?
    Use your Arlo Secure subscription to store videos in the cloud. Or install a microSD card (not included) to store your data locally.

Go 2 Mobile Providers

  • Which mobile service providers can I use with the Arlo Go 2?

Arlo Go 2 currently works with Verizon Wireless and T-Mobile.

  • How much cellular data does the Go 2 use?

Data use varies based on your environment and mobile service provider. Data consumption should range from 700MB to 2GB on a monthly basis, depending on the number of motion triggers and length of recordings.
