How do I change the WiFi network that my Arlo Essential Video Doorbell is connected to?
Your Arlo Essential Video Doorbell must be connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network to operate. When you first set up your Arlo Essential Video Doorbell, you are prompted to connect to a WiFi network, but you can change this network after setup.
Note: Your mobile device must be connected to the same 2.4GHz WiFi network that you are attempting to connect your Arlo Essential Video Doorbell.
To change the WiFi network that your Arlo Essential Video Doorbell is connected to:
- Launch the Arlo app on an iOS (Apple) or Android device.
- Tap Settings > My Devices.
- Select your Arlo Essential Video Doorbell.
- Tap Connected to, directly below the Device On switch.
- Tap Change Network at the bottom of the screen.
- Follow the in-app instructions to connect to a different 2.4 GHz WiFi network.
