How to turn off a SIM PIN before using an Arlo Go 2 Camera

SIM cards used in mobile devices can be locked with a SIM PIN. A SIM PIN cannot be used with the Arlo Go 2 camera. You will need to turn the SIM PIN off on your mobile phone before using the SIM card in Arlo Go 2.

Use the following steps to turn the SIM PIN off with an iPhone or Android smartphone.

To turn the SIM PIN off on iPhone:

  1. Insert the Arlo Go 2 SIM card into your iPhone.
  2. Tap Settings > Cellular > SIM PIN.
  3. Toggle SIM PIN to OFF.
  4. If asked, enter your SIM PIN. If you have never used a SIM PIN, enter the default SIM PIN from your Arlo Go 2 carrier.

Warning: Do not attempt to guess the SIM PIN. Incorrect guesses can permanently lock the SIM card. Contact your Arlo Go 2 carrier if you do not know the SIM PIN.

To turn the SIM PIN off on Android:

  1. Insert the Arlo Go 2 SIM card into your Android smartphone.
  2. Tap Settings > Security > Set up SIM card lock.
  3. Toggle Lock SIM card to OFF.
  4. If asked, enter your SIM PIN. If you have never used a SIM PIN, enter the default SIM PIN from your Arlo Go 2 carrier.
