  • Friends are additional users on your Arlo account. You can select which cameras friends can see and what administrative rights are available to them.
Note: An Arlo Secure subscription is NOT required to gain access to Grant Access feature.

All users can do the following with devices they are granted access to:

  • Play and pause video footage/clips
  • View feed events or cloud content
    • Note: Users who have been granted access can only access Cloud recordings.
  • Mute the speaker
  • Enter full-screen view
  • View live footage
  • Zoom and drag video footage
  • Control brightness
  • Answer calls for Arlo Doorbells

Users with Access Rights can also do the following:

  • Manually record video footage
  • Access and change modes
  • View motion detection statuses
  • Take snapshots
  • Favorite, share, download, and delete video footage/clips
  • Use a camera's microphone
  • Turn Device On and Off in the Device Settings
  • Access to Emergency Response
