What privileges do my friends have when I grant them access rights in my Arlo account?

- Friends are additional users on your Arlo account. You can select which cameras friends can see and what administrative rights are available to them.
Note: An Arlo Secure subscription is NOT required to gain access to Grant Access feature.
All users can do the following with devices they are granted access to:
- Play and pause video footage/clips
- View feed events or cloud content
- Note: Users who have been granted access can only access Cloud recordings.
- Mute the speaker
- Enter full-screen view
- View live footage
- Zoom and drag video footage
- Control brightness
- Answer calls for Arlo Doorbells

Users with Access Rights can also do the following:
- Manually record video footage
- Access and change modes
- View motion detection statuses
- Take snapshots
- Favorite, share, download, and delete video footage/clips
- Use a camera's microphone
- Turn Device On and Off in the Device Settings
- Access to Emergency Response
For Arlo Audio and Video Doorbells:
You can answer incoming doorbell calls. To enable doorbell calls:
- Launch the Arlo Secure App or log in to your Arlo account at my.arlo.com.
- Tap
in the Arlo Secure App or click Settings on my.arlo.com.
- Tap or click People.
- Select a Location under the person's name.
- Tap or click the Audio and Video Doorbell Calls switch to grant the user call privileges.
- Tap or click
to save the settings.
