Why are images from my Arlo camera tinted?

You might see an occasional image color distortion on your Arlo camera.

  • In most cases, the images are tinted red, but the image might also be tinted with other colors.

If you experience color distortion in images from an Arlo camera, reset the camera:

Wire-Free Cameras (powered by battery):

  • Remove the battery, wait 30 seconds, and reinstall the battery

Wired Cameras (powered by an AC adapter):

  • Unplug the AC power adapter from the outlet, wait 30 seconds, and plug the AC power adapter back into the outlet

    Essential Wire-Free Cameras and Video Doorbells (powered by unremovable battery):

    • Restart the camera using the Arlo Secure App under Device Settings
