How do I stream in 4K with my Arlo Ultra camera?

To live stream video in 4K with Arlo Ultra make sure your mobile device is connected to the same local network as your Arlo SmartHub or Arlo Base Station.
- Local 4K live video streaming is only available when your devices are connected to your home network.
- Up to two cameras can stream higher quality live video simultaneously.
- When you use 4K Local Live Streaming, the Record and Snapshot buttons will not be available.
- Due to hardware limitations, Arlo Ultra cameras cannot stream to the cloud in 2K and simultaneously record locally in quality higher than 2K. However, Arlo Ultra can simultaneously stream to the cloud and locally in 4K.
- You cannot turn 4K local live streaming on or off in the Arlo web portal.
To turn Local 4K Live Streaming on:
For the Arlo Secure App experience with Feed:
- Launch the Arlo Secure App.
- Tap Devices.
- Select your Arlo Ultra camera.
- Tap
- Tap Video Settings.
- Tap the Local 4K Live Streaming switch to the on position.
For the Arlo Secure App experience with Library:
- Launch the Arlo Secure App.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap My Devices.
- Select your Arlo Ultra camera.
- Tap Video Settings.
- Tap the Local 4K Live Streaming switch to the on position.
