What should I do if I receive an Uncertified Accessory Error message when adding my Arlo SmartHub or Base Station to Apple Home?

If you receive an error message that says your Arlo SmartHub or Base Station is an Uncertified Accessory, try removing your Arlo SmartHub or Base Station and reconnect to Apple Home. Read below for detailed troubleshooting instructions.
To troubleshoot the Uncertified Accessory HomeKit error:
- Launch the Arlo Secure App on your Apple device.
- Tap Settings > My Devices.
- Select your Arlo SmartHub or Base Station.
- Tap HomeKit.
- Tap [SmartHub/Base Station name] > Remove Device.
- Restart your Arlo SmartHub or Base Station.
- Connect your Arlo system to Apple Home again.
