How do I connect my Arlo SmartHub or Base Station to the Internet?

To connect your Arlo SmartHub or Base Station to the Internet and add it to your Arlo system:
- Launch the Arlo Secure App.
- Tap Devices.
- Confirm your Location is set to where you want to install the device.

- Scroll down and select Base Station/Hub.
- Connect the Arlo SmartHub or Base Station to your Wi-Fi router with an Ethernet cable.
Note: You must connect the Arlo SmartHub or Base Station to your Wi-Fi router with an Ethernet cable before you power it on.
The Arlo SmartHub or Base Station might not connect to your network if you power it on before connecting it to your Wi-Fi router. - Connect the AC power adapter to the Arlo SmartHub or Base Station and plug it into an electrical outlet.
- If you have an older model Arlo Base Station with an On-Off button, turn the Arlo Base Station on by pressing the On-Off button after you plug it into an electrical outlet.
- If you have an Arlo SmartHub or Base Station with one LED, wait for the LED to turn blue.
If you have an Arlo Base Station with three LEDs, wait for the Power LED on the front of the Arlo Base Station to turn green. - Follow the in-app instructions to complete the set-up process.
