How do I wall-mount my Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera?
Before you mount your Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera, make sure you’ve found a good location for signal strength and motion detection. For more information, visit How should I position my Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera?.
Note: You must follow the instructions in the Arlo app when you first install your Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera. Do not begin mounting your camera before the Arlo app instructs you to during the installation process.
What you need
You need the following items to mount your Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera:
- A power drill with a 15/64 inch (6mm) drill bit
- A Phillips-head screwdriver
- A pencil
- The following items that came in the package with your camera:
- Wall plate
- Screws and wall anchors

Mount your Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera
Before you begin, make sure that the camera is out of the camera housing. This makes the mounting process easier, and it allows you to charge the camera while you are installing the camera housing. You can insert the camera into the camera housing after the mounting process is complete.
To wall-mount your Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera:
- Place the wall plate on the wall where you plan to mount your Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera.
- Mark the three holes on the wall plate.
Note: The marks can be used as a guide to drill pilot holes. - Remove the wall plate from the wall.
- Use a 15/64 inch (6mm) drill bit to drill three holes into the wall.
- Place the wall plate back onto the wall, and align it with the three holes in the wall.
- While holding the wall plate over the three holes, use a Phillips-head screw driver to fasten a screw into each hole.

- Align the screw on the camera housing’s grip and the dot on the wall plate, then twist the camera housing clockwise until the grip locks in place.
- Tighten the screw at the bottom of the mount.
- Slide the Pro 3 Floodlight Camera into the camera housing.
Note: You hear a click when the camera is completely inserted in the camera housing. - Adjust the angle of the camera.
- Secure the camera by turning the camera housing grip clockwise.
