Troubleshoot a Wi-Fi connection

If your Arlo Video Doorbell (2nd Generation) is offline and you need to reconnect it to Wi-Fi, follow these troubleshooting steps:

1. Check your Wi-Fi connection.
Make sure that your Wi-Fi router is working, and that other devices can connect to the Internet.

If you have a different Wi-Fi network available, try switching to a different network:

o Tap Wi-Fi Network.

o Tap Change Network and select from the list of available networks.

Press the video doorbell button and wait for the LED to illuminate.

If the LED is off and the video doorbell does not respond, charge the battery to 100%.

3. Check the outdoor temperature around the video doorbell.
Temperature affects the device and can cause it to go offline. We recommend an outdoor temperature range of -4F to 113F (or -20C to 45C). Learn more: Are Arlo cameras weatherproof?
